National Honor Society

I'm really humbled by the awesome job everyone did in our first year as a chapter organization of the National Honor Society. Each student contributed countless hours of their time to wonderful causes and our community is better because of you.

NHS Events for 2011-2012:

- Charity volunteering at the Turtle Race at the Albany Riverquarium

- Volunteering at Chehaw Park, Albany Food Bank, and the Homeless Shelter

- Book Drive to benefit the Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, etc. Over 200 books donated!

- Sponsor of "Keep Westover Green" recycling drive

- Sponsor for Christmas gifts for the Salvation Army for one family

- Tutoring for under-performing students

- "Georgia College 411" student mentoring with the Counseling Department
