2011-12 USAD National Online Competition Results
Congratulations to the 2011-12 AD Team! Westover placed 10th overall in the Medium School Division with 20,590 points. Evan Drew won a Scholastic Gold Medal for his score on the Language/Literature exam. Good job!
2013 USAD Competition

- SCIENCE: The science topic will be space exploration, and the Science Resource Guide will include a section on the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union.
- LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE: The language and literature curriculum will include critical reading, one novel, two poems, and two short stories. The featured novel will be Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak.
- ART: The art curriculum will cover art fundamentals and will focus on Russian art and architecture.
- MUSIC: The music curriculum will cover basic elements of music theory and will focus on the music of Russia and Russian composers.
- SOCIAL SCIENCE: The social science curriculum will present an introduction to the history of Russia.
- ECONOMICS: The economics curriculum will cover fundamental economic concepts, microeconomics, and macroeconomics. The economics curriculum will also include a thematic section focused on the economy of communist and post-communist Russia.
- MATHEMATICS: The mathematics curriculum will cover permutations and combinations, algebra, and statistics.
